3 Simple Scenarios About Faith, Trust, and Hope

I've read about these a long time ago from a book I borrowed from a friend who is a pre-school teacher. I thought it would be nice to share them with you.

Scenario #1:

It was a time of draught when all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer all people gathered and only one boy came with an umbrella.

That is Faith.

Scenario #2:

The feeling of a one year old baby. When you throw him up in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him.

That is Trust.

Scenario #3:

Every night we go to bed, we have no assurance of waking up alive the next morning but we still set alarm for tomorrow.

That is Hope.

All 3 are short and direct to the point. But no matter how simple, they are gems when it comes to giving examples.

Happy Treasure Thursday!

  1. That is so cool Lea. My thing for hope is I always say to Spunky at the foot of our bed before going to sleep, "goodnight Spunky, I love you and I will see you in the morning. Good dog." He is getting older and I am as well so I feel like we both will wake up.
