Review of my Britax Baby Carrier

My husband and I love to travel. Now that we have a nearly 9 month old baby, we still do. Traveling with a baby is not easy, but we managed to make every trip fun and as smooth and comfy as possible. When I said travel in this context, I meant walking – lots of it. Walking on cobblestones, climbing elevated terrains to reach castles, riding cable cars, and going through crowded areas. Those places unreachable by strollers. My baby loves travel, too. He is always amazed by the views, proven by his laughs and smiles and coos.

How do we manage to still travel and not dread bringing a little one who could barely even sit up on his own? I baby wear. That’s a thing any parent can do when going places or just staying at home. My baby is used to it, we even feel a loving mother-and-son bond every time I carry him. There are many slings and baby carriers in the market today, but when shopping for one, I put safety first. I also looked for comfort, both for me and my baby. That’s why I chose the Britax baby carrier.

Britax baby carrier is easy to use and put on. It is not bulky. It also provides support to the back, shoulders, and hips by distributing the weight of the baby ergonomically. I am a petite woman, so having lots of fabric to fold and tie into a knot is too bulky for me. I have also tried other carriers (this is my 3rd) but none compares to Britax when it comes to providing comfort to the wearer and the baby.  It has padded straps, body, and belt so the baby’s skin is protected against getting scratched by the product material edges. The straps and belt are also easily adjusted for custom fit. From the time my baby is big enough, we removed the adapter, which is an insert to accommodate smaller babies or newborn. Speaking of younger infants with of course, smaller legs, the leg loops are also adjusted easily for secure fit. Furthermore, the head support does an excellent job in providing both head and neck stability for younger babies. Another thing I really like about this carrier is that the buckle and snaps allow you to get your child in and out of the pouch easily, complemented by the nicely contoured design. I also never worried about loose straps because its belt has excess storage bands that eliminate the problem. Moreover, when it comes to safety, you are confident that your little one stays securely within the carrier and close to you.

Me and my baby during a recent travel. He was so
comfortable he even slept whenever he wanted to.

Even if we travel during the summer, I am not worried that my baby will overheat or get so sweaty because the carrier is breathable, with its openings that help in temperature management. It also comes with a bib made of 100% cotton. This protects both the carrier and your clothes from stains. The bib and the whole carrier is machine washable.

Britax baby carrier has been my partner when it comes to baby wearing, and I know I will be using it as long as my baby and I need one. Its capacity is from 8 to 32 lbs, so we will surely be partners for a long time.
